Why Choose Dental Implants?
Going in to get dental implants may seem scary. If you have lost a tooth and don’t want to wear dentures, you may want a more permanent way to replace a missing tooth. Getting a dental implant may be the best place to start.
Comprehensive Care for Dental Implants
When you visit us at PJN Dental, we assess your teeth and help you recover your smile. Having a dental implant is important for more than just aesthetics. Your dental hygiene will improve with a dental implant, and the procedure will give you a tooth that can last for the rest of your life if you take care of it properly.

What to Expect During the Procedure
- Assessment of teeth and overall dental health
- Information on foods to avoid, nutrition and managing initial pain
- Use of dissolving stitches for convenience
- Detailed x-rays and models of your mouth
- Examination of structures supporting the teeth
We strive to put the comfort and peace of mind of the patient first. Dr. Pascal has been in the dental profession for over 20 years and has performed numerous dental surgeries.
Post-Procedure Care
We will provide you with information about foods to eat in order to help with your recovery. You want to eat soft foods until the swelling in your mouth subsides. We will also advise you on how to manage any initial pain that you may experience. This varies from person to person. Most people will experience swelling of the gums and face. Pain in the area of the implant is normal, and there might be some bleeding.
In some cases, acute stiffness of the jaw occurs, and you may find yourself unable to open your mouth. Get in touch with us immediately if this happens. Most of the time, you will be prescribed pain medication to manage the pain. Dr Pascal will do all possible to be as conservative as possible in order to help with recovery and healing.
